Prime number -Japanese Contemporary Art to Kainuu. At Ravintola Sirius 2nd floor
This exhibition was hold at Ravintola Sirius 2nd floor in Kajaani, Finland (2.7-13.7.2012) The building was located right next to the Kajaani river and had its unique atmosphere and history. I tried to merge the space and our three Japanese artists' works. The visitors seemed relaxed seeing the art with the beautiful view and Kajaani castle from the windows at the space. The exhibition was accompanied with one music event by Pekka Juhani Koponen on 7th July. This project was supported by Finnish cultural foundation,Kainuu Regional Fund and curated by Mayumi Niiranen-Hisatomi. Participated artists : Mayumi Niiranen-Hisatomi, Aya Yamamoto, Taishi Nishi and the musician Pekka Juhani Koponen.
